The Wiki Way Works Wonderfully

So another good day at work and I'm finding myself fitting very naturally into my new role at work. This makes me happy.

So in the last 24 hours my website suffered a bit of vandalism. By making a website where it is possible for anyone to edit it, you can end up getting some jerks who damage data. The left menu on my site was replaced a number of times with a list of links. It was pretty lame. I finally password protected it and a number of other sections of my site as well. The really nifty thing is that a wiki makes it impossible to destroy data. When my sidebar was overwritten, all I had to do was view the page history and click restore. Less than a minute to fix the site, and another few to add passwords.
